Job summary

Bradbury Asset Management (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic Sales Training Manager to elevate the performance of our sales force in a fast-paced financial services environment in Kuala Lumpur. You will design, deliver, and evaluate training programs to boost product knowledge and sales capabilities.

The role requires collaboration with leaders, development of materials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while leveraging LMS tools and digital learning platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in learning & development or sales training within financial services.
• Strong understanding of wealth management and client relationship frameworks.
• Proficiency with LMS and digital learning tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel with own transport.

Responsibilities

• Analyze training needs and identify competency gaps.
• Develop and execute a training strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Design, develop, and deliver training programs covering wealth management products and services, investments, sales and relationship management, regulatory standards, and leadership skills.
• Create training materials including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, assessments, and guides.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, performance metrics, and post-training analysis.
• Lead culture-building and employee engagement initiatives and internal campaigns.
• Collaborate with department heads to align initiatives with organizational goals.
• Coordinate with external training providers and industry professionals when required.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in financial services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful sales training programs that enhance product knowledge, sales capabilities, communication standards, and regulatory compliance awareness.

Job Description:

• Analyze organizational and departmental training needs to identify competency gaps and performance improvement opportunities.
• Develop and execute the overall training and development strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Design, develop, and deliver training programs covering:

• A) Wealth management products and services
• B) Investment and financial planning concepts
• C) Sales and relationship management skills
• D) Regulatory and compliance standards
• E) Leadership and soft skills development

• Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, handouts, e-learning modules, assessments, and training guides.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, performance metrics, and post-training analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead initiatives that support culture-building, employee engagement, recognition programs, and overall employee experience, including townhalls, festive celebrations, and internal engagement campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with department heads and business leaders to ensure training initiatives align with organizational goals and workforce needs.
• Engage and coordinate with external training providers and industry professionals when required.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, regulatory developments, and evolving best practices within the financial services and wealth management industry.
• Ensure all training activities comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and applicable industry requirements.

Qualification and requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in learning & development, sales training, or capability development within financial services, preferably in wealth management, banking, insurance, or asset management.
• Strong understanding of wealth management business models, financial advisory processes, and client relationship frameworks.
• Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong presentation, coaching, and people development capabilities.
• Possess own transport and must be willing to travel.
