Job summary

Maersk Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Support Engineer for the Fulfilled by Maersk Platform to assist FbM Level 1 support. The role focuses on agile, quality support for Maersk Contract Logistics Applications, including WMS and Depot/Yard systems, with on-site operation in Malaysia.

The candidate will own SQL task analysis, provide Python automation, and ensure database performance while adhering to incident, problem, change processes and SLA/KPI requirements.

• Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.

Job description

The Fulfilled by Maersk Platform is looking for a Support engineer who will provide support to FbM Level 1 Support Engineer.
The right candidates for these positions will possess a need to provide agile and quality support services for business operations, and then coordinate the installation, upgrading and daily maintenance of Maersk Contract Logistics Applications (Warehouse Management System, Depot Management System, Yard Management System, Middleware, Legacy, Omni Channel Transportation) used by the Platform. Understanding of technology in an FbM operational environment, having earned this experience through a career spent on-site supporting operational teams.

• Has the capability & take ownership to drive the analysis, evaluation and troubleshooting the SQL tasks (MSSQL, MYSQL) and related issues for all the FbM Applications.
• Python scripting for automation
• Provide database application support for all FbM Applications.
• Responsible for database performance monitoring.
• Take ownership of documenting the support tasks.
• Having basic knowledge on access management and security compliance.
• Having a good understanding of incident management, problem management, change management, and adherence to the SLA, KPI.
