Job summary

StashAway is seeking a Trading Operations Lead to own how trades are executed across regions, balancing client returns with costs and fill efficiency. You will partner with the Investment Team and broker desks to implement automated execution strategies and measure performance.

You will build analytics on execution quality, use AI-assisted insights on large datasets, and drive governance for best execution. This role blends trading ops with continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in trading operations, execution, or brokerage, including buy-side dealing or investment operations.
• Able to weigh client returns, trading cost, and risk, and make calls when conflicting.
• Strong grasp of execution strategy and best-execution principles.
• Experience with AI-assisted analysis and large trade/settlement datasets.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python for data analysis and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the firm’s automated trade execution strategy, balancing when and how to trade.
• Monitor execution quality and act on patterns or volatility.
• Lead portfolio reoptimisation and coordinate with broker desks for clean execution.
• Collaborate with Investment, Product and Engineering to ship execution-strategy enhancements.
• Build and own an execution quality analysis capability and governance.
