Job summary

Gate, a leading cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2013, is seeking a product leader to own the strategy and delivery of core professional trading modules. You will shape high-density trading interfaces, drive cross-functional teams, and define standards for stability and performance.

You will build workflows used by professional traders, including chart-driven order placement, advanced risk features, and cross-venue execution. Remote-friendly culture and global scale.

Qualifications

• Active trader with personal capital or professional desk experience.
• Minimum 5 years in product management for trading-related platforms.
• Deep knowledge of candlestick charts, order books, and derivatives concepts.
• Strong product ownership and ability to defend standards.
• Ability to drive execution across design and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of core professional trading modules (charting, market data, order books, trading panels, and order/position management).
• Define high-information-density interaction standards and push engineering to meet them.
• Build workflows used by professional traders, including chart-driven order placement from charts and keyboard-first execution.
• Design cross-exchange position aggregation, hedging, and cross-venue execution to enable best-in-class trading UX.
• Track retention, trading conversion, engagement, and ensure safety and stability across the trading journey.
