Job summary

StashAway in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Trading Operations Lead to own the execution of trades, balancing client returns with trading costs and fill rates across our markets. You will lead the automated execution strategy and partner with broker desks and the Investment Team.

You will work with AI-assisted analysis on large trade data, drive governance for best execution, and translate insights into product requirements with Eng and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in trading operations, execution, or brokerage with livemarkets accountability.
• Strong judgement balancing client returns, execution costs, and fill certainty.
• Deep understanding of execution strategy and best-execution principles.

Responsibilities

• Own the firm’s automated trade execution strategy across regions.
• Monitor execution quality, signal patterns, and decide on trading actions.
• Lead portfolio reoptimisation and coordinate with broker desks for clean execution.
• Collaborate with Investment, Product and Engineering to implement enhancements.
• Build and own execution-quality analytics, including cost vs benchmark and slippage.
• Prepare regular reports on execution quality for CIO and senior management.
