Job summary

Tristar Global Sdn Bhd is seeking a Trading Assistant to join our Marketing & Trading team in Selangor. This role offers hands-on exposure to trade execution, market analysis, and client coordination for fresh graduates.

You will support the trading team, analyze market data, and collaborate with the marketing team to prepare trade documentation and communications, while learning from experienced traders in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
Tristar Global Sdn Bhd is looking for an enthusiastic Trading Assistant to join our Marketing & Trading team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to kickstart a career in commodity trading, with hands-on exposure to trade execution, market analysis, and client coordination.

What You'll Be Doing:
Support the trading team in executing trades and monitoring trading positions. Assist in analyzing market trends, pricing, and other relevant data to support trading decisions. Coordinate with the marketing team on client communications and trade documentation. Help monitor and report on trading and marketing performance. Provide day-to-day support to senior traders as required. Keep up to date with commodity markets, industry trends, and best practices.

What We're Looking For:
Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, International Trade, or a related field (fresh graduates welcome). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive, self‑motivated, and eager to learn. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; exposure to trading platforms is a plus.
