Job summary
FLEXLY CONSULTING SDN. BHD., based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, invites a diligent IP assistant to support trademark searches, applications, and monitoring of registration statuses.
The role includes preparing client correspondence and coordinating with overseas associates, with exposure to other IP matters as needed. The ideal candidate holds a Law degree (LLB) and is open to fresh graduates from non-legal backgrounds as full training will be provided.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) preferred; fresh graduates from non-legal backgrounds welcome - no prior IP experience required; full training will be provided.
- Responsible and accountable - takes ownership of assigned work and follows through without constant reminders.
- Organised and detail-oriented - able to manage deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Comfortable working with SOPs, checklists and digital tools.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Assist with trademark search and applications.
- Monitor trademark applications and registration status.
- Prepare correspondence and documents for clients.
- Communicate with overseas associates.
- Support day-to-day trademark advisory tasks when required; assist with other IP matters from time to time.
