Job summary

MetaComp is seeking a Trade Operations Officer to manage the front-office flow of client crypto and FX/OTC activity from deposit through settlement. You will work with Compliance, Back Office, and Liquidity Partners to ensure accurate execution and timely payouts.

The role covers fiat payment operations with potential exposure to digital asset operations over time. Candidates at junior to mid levels are welcome to apply, reporting to the Head of Back Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field
• 2+ years in trade operations, crypto/digital asset operations, FX/OTC or payments
• Working knowledge of blockchain wallets, on-chain transfers and gas fees
• Familiarity with AML/KYC controls, including the Travel Rule
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with reconciliations
• Clear communication with Compliance, Treasury and clients under time pressure

The RoleYou will join our Trade Operations Middle & Back Office team, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of trades from execution through to settlement and reporting. This is a hands‑on operational role at the core of the firm’s daily flow. The work centres on fiat payment and trade operations, with possible exposure to digital asset operations over time. You will report to the Head of Back Office and work closely with Trading, Finance, Compliance, and Technology.This role is open to candidates at junior to mid levels of experience.Key

RAbout the Role

The Trade Operations Officer runs the front-office flow of client crypto and FX/OTC activity, from deposit to trade to withdrawal. You make sure funds are credited correctly, trades are executed and hedged, payouts go out accurately and on time, and liquidity is in the right place. You work closely with Compliance, Back Office, Payment Ops and Liquidity Partners.

Key Responsibilities

Pay In / Deposits

• Ensure incoming crypto deposits are reflected in the client's ledger
• Conduct Satoshi tests where required
• Manage wallet registration and Travel Rule declarations
• Monitor crypto deposit status and coordinate with Compliance where additional review is required

Trading

• Provide FX/OTC bid/ask quotes to clients and execute trades on behalf of customers
• Execute hedging transactions with Liquidity Partners

Pay Out / Withdrawals

• Ensure outgoing crypto withdrawals and payments are processed accurately and on time
• Process crypto refunds from Jail Wallets or High-Risk Staging Wallets
• Coordinate with Compliance on exceptional withdrawal and refund cases

Treasury & Liquidity Management

• Coordinate liquidity allocation and fund movements according to banking and settlement requirements, working closely with Back Office and Payment Ops
• Monitor bank balances and proactively arrange transfers where required

System & Operational Support

• Configure client spreads and referral fees
• Set up exchange and LP sub-accounts
• Support testing funds with the Backbone and IT teams
• Monitor and top up admin wallet gas fees
• Support fund transfers for the Loan and Wealth teams

Referral Commissions

• Calculate referral commissions for OTC and spot trades
• Perform crypto reconciliation
• Support crypto safeguarding
