Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Tour Sales Executive to join our travel services team. You will handle inquiries across walk-ins, chat, phone and social media, and promote domestic and international tour packages. You will coordinate bookings, prepare itineraries, and ensure smooth payments and customer satisfaction.

Experience in travel sales, strong communication, and English plus Bahasa Malaysia are valued. Diploma or degree in Tourism or related fields is preferred; Amadeus knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service, travel agency, or tourism industry is an advantage.
• Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in travel agency sales or ticketing (preferred).
• Knowledge of airline reservation systems (e.g., Amadeus) is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales-driven with strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional languages are a plus).

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries through walk-ins, WhatsApp, phone calls, social media, and other channels
• Assist customers with enquiries and arrangements before, during, and after their departure
• Promote and sell domestic and international tour packages to customers
• Maintain good customer relationships and provide professional and responsive customer service throughout the booking process
• Maintain good knowledge of the company's tour packages, destinations, promotions, and travel products
• Coordinate closely with the Operations and Accounts teams to ensure bookings, payments, and customer arrangements
• Prepare travel itineraries and quotations based on customer requirements
• Manage bookings and coordinate flights, hotels, transportation, tours, and other travel arrangements
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities, identify leads and undertake sales calls and close deals with clients
• Keep updated on travel destinations, new products, promotions, airline schedules, and industry trends
