Job summary

PERSOLKELLY Workforce Solutions (M) Sdn. Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Tooling Technician for a 6-month contract. The role requires experience in stamping/downset tooling, the ability to read blueprints, and strong problem-solving skills.

Shifts include day, Friday prayer, and night options. Basic salary ranges RM1,900–RM2,500 based on experience. Diploma or certificate in tooling is preferred, with extensive collaboration with engineers and other technicians to ensure tool

Qualifications

• Experience in tooling field (Stamping/Downset).
• Ability to read engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Diploma or certificate in tooling or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot tooling issues.
• Identify root causes and solve tooling issues.
• Conduct precise measurement and quality checks on tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians.
• Detect minor defects or wear on tools.
• Communicate effectively with all levels within the organization, suppliers, and customers.
• Provide leadership and direction to resolve issues with other departments.
• Work long hours and high-pressure environments.
• Implement improvement opportunities to increase profits and productivity.

Position: Tooling Technician
Contract: 6 months under PERSOLKELLY Workforce Solutions (M) Sdn. Bhd
Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia
Company background: Electronic Manufacturer
Basic salary: RM1900 - RM2,500 (based on experience)

OT: candidate may ask during interview session

Shift
8am-5.45pm (day)
8am-7pm (Friday Prayer)
Solat 12.30pm-2.30pm
8pm-5.45am (night)
Break 5.45-6.30 (am/pm)

If OT will start at 6.30-8 (am/pm)

Shift pattern: 4 day shift, 2 off day, 4 night shift, 2 off day

Requirements

1. Have working experience in tooling related field (Stamping / Downset)
2. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings
3. Creative thinking to find solutions to complex manufacturing problems
4. Analytical skills to identify root causes of malfunctions
5. Diploma or Certificate Program: Preferred, providing hands‑on training in tooling technology, machining, or a related field.

There will be 2 level of interview. First will be the dept and second will be with the operation director.
