Job summary

Insulet Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a Test Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve process test equipment. The role includes cross-training across stations such as PCBA testing, Bluetooth, laser marking, and more to boost reliability and quality.

You will document maintenance activities in our database, work with manufacturing teams, and contribute to safety and regulatory compliance while supporting day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electric/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–4 years direct experience with PCBA assembly, testing, debugging, and optimizing automated equipment.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced/high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and test systems on equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks (cleaning, inspection, continuity, verification).
• Document maintenance activity using the maintenance database and communicate issues to relevant staff.
• Interface with manufacturing and representatives to create/execute preventative maintenance schedules and resolve quality, process, or safety defects.
• Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for test or electrical errors, safety issues or inefficiencies.
• Organize, report, and present technical work to various levels within the organization.
• Create and train standard operating procedures for the setup and maintenance of test equipment.
• Assist in day-to-day support of operators, adjustments, setups, and change over.
• Report safety, quality, and regulatory concerns to leadership.
• Hands‑on role with project work as an individual contributor or cross-functional team member.
• Perform other duties as required.
