Job summary

Unisem is seeking an experienced Test Planning Section Manager to lead the test planning function and translate customer demand into achievable production plans.

The role requires overseeing capacity planning, equipment loading and production resources, while managing a team of test planners and coordinating with Manufacturing, Test Engineering and Quality to ensure on-time delivery. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead test capacity planning and production scheduling based on customer demand, priorities and available capacity.
• Plan and optimize test capacity, equipment loading and production resources to support customer requirements.
• Lead, manage and develop a team of test planners to ensure effective planning and execution.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Equipment, Quality and other relevant departments to align production plans and capacity.
• Monitor production progress and proactively identify capacity constraints, bottlenecks and potential delivery risks.
• Follow up closely with Manufacturing to ensure committed customer delivery dates are achieved.
• Review and adjust production plans according to changes in customer demand, capacity and production conditions.
• Provide planning and capacity updates to management and support continuous improvement of planning processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of semiconductor industry experience, particularly in test operations, production planning and/or capacity planning.

Strong understanding of Wafer Sort, Final Test, Handlers, Probers and semiconductor manufacturing flow.

Strong knowledge of capacity planning, equipment loading and production scheduling.

Mandarin proficiency in speaking and writing will be an added advantage.

Proven leadership and people management experience.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
