Job summary

Green Cubes Technology Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking an Applications Engineer to join the product development team. You will work closely with engineers to understand functional requirements and develop test solutions interfacing firmware and software with production test jigs.

The role involves improving test fixture reliability, supporting production line troubleshooting, and enhancing data collection and CPk reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronic/Electronics/Computer engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of programming in C, C++, Python.
• 2–3 years of working experience preferred.
• Experience in electronic circuitry analysis and understanding schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Innovative mindset and drive for technical excellence.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Development to understand requirements for new and existing products.
• Develop robust test solutions interfacing firmware/software with test jigs.
• Introduce test processes, monitor yield, and take corrective actions to reduce scrap.
• Improve test fixture reliability and reduce jig downtime.
• Support production line troubleshooting of the test system.
• Improve efficiency of test data collection and CPk report generation.
• Validate and maintain production fixtures using GR&R and provide reports.
• Provide production PCs/IT support for data imaging, backups and software tool installation.
