Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university and five to ten years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and interview Test Engineers I & II.
• Coach Test Engineers in the interviewing/hiring process.
• Monitor team member turnover, identify factors and implement improvements.
• Identify individual and team strengths and development needs, and create training curriculum.
• Coach and mentor Test Engineers I & II to deliver excellence to customers.
• Establish clear measurable goals and objectives to determine results.
• Solicit feedback from senior managers and peers on team contributions and provide coaching.
• Drive continuous improvement in key operational metrics and goals.
• Coordinate activities of large teams and keep them focused during crises.
• Ensure fair recognition and rewards within area of responsibility.
• Provide communication forums and organize ideas in a business-appropriate style.
• Define and implement Test Engineering strategies aligned with campus directions.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and monitor cost trends.
