Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to manage Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and related test hardware in a semiconductor manufacturing context. You will develop procedures, troubleshoot, train staff, and drive improvements across testers, burn-in systems, and handling equipment.
The role requires 4–6 years of industrial experience in equipment development or maintenance and a degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering. ISO9000/QS9000 knowledge is preferred.

Project management and coordinate development or improvement of equipment for processor functional test.
Develop and establish equipment operating procedures, troubleshooting and service/maintenance program.
Monitor line-equipment issues, analyze and initiate problem solving or providing engineering solutions.
Assist product or manufacturing group in new product or process development and qualification.
Liaise with test vendors on resolving technical issues or with component vendors for sourcing of components.
Develop and establish training and troubleshooting programs on equipment and hardware.
Develop and establish hardware inventory management program.
Experience in Tester, Handler, Burn-In equipment, industrial or automated manufacturing systems.
Understanding of semi-conductor manufacturing.
Experience in equipment development, installation, qualification and maintenance.

Responsible in taking care Automated Test Equipment (ATE) tester.
Ensure equipment operation procedures and maintenance programs are in place.
Ensure equipment Preventive Maintenance practice is in place and carry out in a timely basis.
Drive improvements, initiate problem solving and develop creative engineering solutions to achieve low cost, better quality, improved capabilities and higher efficiency.
Ensure training and troubleshooting programs on equipment and hardware are in place.
Ensure high equipment performance, maximize equipment up time. Minimize tester downtime and board downrate.
Equipment spare part management, inventory planning, cost planning & training skills development.
Familiar in FT testing, PCB troubleshooting and debugging up to component level.
Experienced in tester maintenance and test background.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or above.
At least 4-6 years and above of industrial experience in equipment development or equipment maintenance experience.
Knowledge in ISO9000 / QS9000 quality system implementation preferred.
