Job summary

STANDARDMARK LABORATORY SDN. BHD. in Malaysia seeks a Laboratory Operations Coordinator to oversee day-to-day laboratory activities, ensuring smooth running and provision of resources for quality assurance.

You will schedule sample throughput, monitor work in progress, prioritize analyses based on client requirements, ensure maintenance and calibration of equipment, and uphold the MS ISO/IEC 17025 and SAMM quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule sample throughput, monitor work in progress, prioritize sample analysis based on client requirements and laboratory efficiency and ensure work is performed in a timely fashion
• Monitor and ensure that the quality management system as per MS ISO/IEC 17025 and SAMM is implemented accordingly
• Report any sample violations as indicated in the Departmental SOP to Laboratory Manager, and carry out the necessary actions required prior to reporting results
• Ensure the qualification, maintenance and calibration of equipment as per laid down under standard operating procedure is implemented accordingly

Job description

To coordinate activities in the laboratory and ensure smooth running of day-to-day laboratory activities. Responsible for technical operations and the provision of the resources needed to ensure the required quality of the chemical laboratory.

Key responsibilities
