Job summary

URSOL SDN. BHD. is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, follow SOPs, and document test results. You will assist with sample preparation, QC checks, and safe waste disposal while upholding data integrity and safety standards.

The role involves supporting senior staff in experiments, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining a clean lab environment. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Conducting routine laboratory tests and analyses according to established protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Recording and documenting test results accurately, maintaining detailed laboratory records and ensuring data integrity.
• Assisting with sample preparation, collection, and storage in compliance with laboratory safety standards.
• Performing quality control checks on materials and equipment to ensure compliance with laboratory requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe laboratory environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Supporting senior laboratory staff with experiments, research projects and technical analyses.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and reporting maintenance requirements promptly.
• Ensuring proper disposal of laboratory waste in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering laboratory supplies as needed.
