Key Responsibilities
- Perform setup, debugging, calibration, and validation of testing and automation equipment according to project requirements and schedules.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with Product Engineering teams.
- Maintain accurate records of testing activities, validation results, and equipment configurations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and ensure the reliability and optimal performance of testing equipment.
- Support equipment acceptance, inspection, and validation activities for supplier‑built systems.
- Work closely with suppliers to address technical, quality, and performance‑related issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Utilize test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and validation activities.
- Ensure all testing and validation processes are properly documented and comply with established standards.
- Support engineering projects and other duties assigned by management.
Requirements.
- SKM, Diploma, or Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Industrial Automation, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automation equipment, testing systems, industrial machinery, or related engineering environments.
- Experience in optical communication testing or equipment debugging is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with automation equipment, mechanical transmission systems, and electrical control systems.
- Basic understanding of PLC principles and automation controls.
- Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test instruments.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and electrical drawings.
- Hands‑on troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Ability to read technical documentation in English.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and highly responsible.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working under pressure and when required to support urgent project timelines.
