Job summary

Pentrac Itron Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang invites a hands-on Test Technician to join our team. You will perform testing, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment for multinational customers across industries.

Fresh graduates are welcome. You will work with advanced test gear, develop skills, and contribute to quality standards while collaborating with engineers to resolve technical issues in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Certificate or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in testing, calibration, electronics manufacturing, quality, or equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes or calibration equipment is a plus.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
• Willing to learn and work in a laboratory or technical environment.

Responsibilities

Pentrac Itron Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a hands-on Test Technician to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this role, you will perform testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment while supporting multinational customers across various industries.

Whether you're a fresh graduate or an experienced technician, this is a great opportunity to build your technical skills and work with advanced test and calibration equipment.

What You'll Do

Perform testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment.

Our calibration lab is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited, and fully capable of repairing and calibrating most calibration instruments. We cover the entire Penang region and nearby metropolitan areas, as well as a majority of Northern Malaysia. Our technicians are ASQ Certified Calibration Technicians (CCT) and ready to cater to your testing and calibration needs.
