Tentacle Tech is seeking a Junior Test Analyst to support UAT in a finance-focused environment. You will analyse requirements, design test cases, and collaborate with product owners and IT to ensure smooth, defect-free implementations.

This entry-level role offers mentorship, exposure to enterprise projects, and clear career progression within a growing tech consultancy. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you’ll join a collaborative, professional team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant testing experience.
• Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Analyse industry and internal user stories and enhancement requests.
• Formulate test scripts and test cases.
• Perform UAT planning, design, and execution of test cases.
• Collaborate with product owners, IT, and business units to ensure smooth execution and implementation.
• Log, manage, and follow up defects until closure.
• Document all test results clearly and accurately.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Test Analyst to support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities within a dynamic finance-sector environment. In this role, you will analyse business requirements, design and execute test cases, and collaborate closely with product owners and IT teams to ensure smooth, defect-free implementations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their testing career to build practical UAT experience while working alongside experienced professionals.

What You'll Do

• Analyse industry and internal user stories and enhancement requests
• Formulate relevant test scripts and test cases
• Perform UAT planning, design, and execution of test cases
• Collaborate with product owners, IT, and other business units to ensure smooth execution and implementation
• Log, manage, and follow up with stakeholders on defects until closure
• Document all test results thoroughly and accurately
• Provide daily status updates on UAT progress

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in testing or a related field
• Familiarity with Jira for defect and test management
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• FX knowledge or experience in Client/Portfolio Analysis
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
