Job summary

SUN PHARMA in Malaysia seeks a motivated Medical Sales Representative to promote our product portfolio across private hospitals, GP clinics, and pharmacies in Johor Bahru. You will manage an assigned territory, engage healthcare professionals through product detailing, and strengthen key account relationships.

The ideal candidate has a science background, 1–3 years of pharma or medical sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with own transport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences or related fields.
• 1–3 years of pharmaceutical or medical sales preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong scientific knowledge are welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Own transport and valid driving license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Promote and detail assigned products to doctors, specialists, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals.
• Achieve sales targets and grow market share within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships in private hospitals, GP clinics, and pharmacies.
• Conduct product presentations and scientific detailing sessions.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and provide market insights.
• Execute sales and promotional activities based on company strategy.
• Prepare timely sales reports, customer updates, and activity plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
