Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Telesales / Telemarketing Specialist to drive direct-to-consumer sales of financial and insurance products. Working in an outbound call center, you will handle warm leads from strategic partners, assess customer needs, and propose tailored solutions to hit individual and team targets.

The role requires 2–5 years of outbound call center or telesales experience in financial services or insurance, and CMFAS certifications are advantageous.

as a Telesales / Telemarketing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving direct-to-consumer sales for our financial and insurance products. Operating within a high-performing outbound call center environment, you will handle warm leads provided through key strategic partners, engage with retail customers to understand their protection and financial needs, and recommend tailored solutions to achieve both individual and team targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform outbound telemarketing calls to partner-provided leads to achieve established sales targets.

• Conduct need-based assessments for retail customers and recommend suitable insurance and financial products.

• Successfully convert qualified leads into closed sales through structured telephone consultations.

• Ensure all calling activities and sales processes strictly adhere to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification.

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of prior outbound call center, telesales, or telemarketing experience within the financial services or insurance industry.

• Certifications: CMFAS certifications (BCP, PGI, HI) are advantageous, though not mandatory.

• Skills: Excellent verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and a result-oriented mindset.

you will be joining an established, collaborative, and fast-paced Telesales & Distribution team within the Singapore region. The team operates in a target-driven yet supportive environment, working closely with partner channels to maximize lead conversion. You will report directly to a Telemarketing Team Lead who provides continuous coaching, performance guidance, and ongoing product training to help you succeed and grow your career in financial services distribution.
