Job summary

Systems Limited is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of telecom projects. The role oversees scope, schedule, budget, quality, and resources across the full lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery within contractual standards.

You will plan detailed project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage financials and risks, and report status to stakeholders across onshore and offshore locations. PMBOK/Agile experience valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications (Master's / MBA an advantage).
8+ years IT/telecom experience, including 4+ years in project management of technology delivery projects.
Proven track record delivering telecommunications BSS/OSS or digital transformation projects.
Experience leading cross-functional, multi-location delivery teams and client stakeholder environments.
Strong knowledge of PM methodologies and tools: Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, PMBOK; Jira; MS Project.
Financial, commercial, and change management experience across Fixed Cost and T&M engagements.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, CSM/PSM, ITIL preferred.
APAC telecom operator experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage end-to-end delivery of telecom projects in line with the statement of work.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures, tracking progress against baselines.
Act as the primary day-to-day contact for client project stakeholders, managing expectations, communications, and status reporting.
Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams including business analysts, solution architects, developers, and QA across onshore and offshore resources.
Manage project financials: budget tracking, effort/resource costs, invoicing inputs, and margins across Fixed Cost and Time & Material engagements.
Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues, escalating appropriately and enforcing structured change-control processes.
Manage project dependencies and integration points with other workstreams, vendors, and client systems.
Ensure adherence to delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and to the client's SDLC, quality, security, and compliance standards.
Plan and coordinate SIT, UAT, migration, cutover, and go-live activities, ensuring readiness and defect closure.
Maintain accurate project documentation, RAID logs, status reports, meeting minutes, and delivery artefacts ensuring traceability and governance compliance.
Conduct project closure, lessons-learned, and handover activities, capturing improvements for future delivery.
Support the Program Manager and account team with reporting, resource planning, and identification of follow-on opportunities.
