Job summary

Orissa Wicomm (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end telecom project delivery from initiation to handover, ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction.

You will liaise with operators, clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers; develop schedules, monitor budgets, manage risks, and coordinate engineering, site teams and subcontractors to drive successful project execution and performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of telecommunication projects.
• Liaise with telecommunication operators, clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, resources and budgets.
• Coordinate with engineering, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to timelines, specifications and client requirements.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide project status updates to management and clients.
• Identify project risks, delays and resource constraints, and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Manage project documentation including schedules, progress reports, site reports, variation orders, claims, testing and handover documentation.
• Monitor project costs and work with commercial/finance team to control expenditure and margins.
• Review project scope, contracts and client requirements to ensure commitments are understood.
• Coordinate site activities and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including work progress, quality, timelines and deliverables.
• Conduct site visits to monitor implementation and resolve issues.
• Ensure project completion, testing, commissioning and handover meet client requirements.
• Maintain good relationships with existing clients and support management in identifying potential opportunities.
• Prepare regular reports on project progress, cost, risks, issues and overall status.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by management.
