Job summary

AFINITI SUITES SDN. BHD. is seeking a maintenance technician to operate and monitor M&E services and to perform repair and preventive maintenance on building systems. The role involves handling mechanical and electrical equipment, installations, and occasional night shifts with allowances.

The successful candidate will participate in routine inspections, attend to urgent breakdowns, and support upkeep of building furnishings and services for a premium property.

Qualifications

• Required to work on 2 or more rotating shifts as stated in the Engineering Duty Roster
• Required to respond to paging at all times
• May be recalled to attend to breakdown in emergencies after 12 midnight / scheduled to work on night shift with allowance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor building mechanical and electrical (M&E) services and related plant equipment
• Carry out preventive maintenance on M&E systems according to schedule
• Carry out modification and installation of M&E equipment and plant
• Reinstate premises after tenant checks out
• Attend to emergency breakdowns of M&E equipment and respond promptly
• Inspect and maintain building fittings and fixtures including air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, sanitation and fire protection systems
• Support R&M programmes for upkeep of building furnishings
• Attend to emergencies such as air-conditioning failures, water leaks, electrical outages and sanitary chokage
• Provide lighting, power, sound systems and other related equipment for events and promotions
• Perform lubrication, cleaning, corrosion maintenance, adjustments and replacements on building fittings and fixtures
• Carry out inspections and maintenance as part of routine duties under the Engineering Duty Roster

Job description

Responsible for operating, monitoring building contents and the general repair and maintenance work on all Mechanical & Electrical services/systems, mechanical and plant equipment and building content services (carpentry, electrical, air conditioning plumbing, AV, Telephone, painting, carpeting, etc.)

Key responsibilities

Carry out maintenance work on M & E services

Perform preventive maintenance work as per schedule on M & E services

Carry out modification and installation of M & E equipment and plant

Reinstate premises after tenant checks out

Attend to emergency breakdown of M & E equipment and respond immediately upon receipt of information

Carry out routine and non-routine inspection on M & E equipment and perform maintenance works for repair of air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, sanitation, fire protection and building maintenance work

Perform duties on R&M Programmes as scheduled on upkeep of building furnishing

Attend to emergency breakdown of air-conditioning, water-leakage, electrical black-out and sanitary chokage

Provide lighting, power, sound system and other related equipment and fixtures for special functions and promotions

Carry out inspection, lubrication, cleaning, corrosion maintenance, adjustment and replacement on all building fittings, equipment and fixtures
