Job summary

Technocom Systems Sdn Bhd, part of Venture Group, seeks a Technician to support Test, Automation, Process and NPI activities in Tebrau, Johor. The role involves ensuring device testing, maintaining equipment, and assisting production teams to meet schedule targets.

We’re looking to add a Technician, Test / Automation / Process / NPI in Tebrau, Johor.

Technician, Test

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance as scheduled for In-circuit & Functional testing according to procedures;
• Repair any breakdown in In-circuit and Functional testers, fixtures and test equipment;
• Provide technical support to production team;
• Assist Engineers in evaluation testing and ISO documentation;
• Yield improvement and kaizen involvement;
• Follow production schedules during debugging/repairing and ensure that the schedules are met;

Technician, Automation

• Responsible for Automation machines in assisting Automation Engineers in maintaining and improving the machine performance in order to have good quality, better yield and reduce machine downtime;
• Responsible for assisting Automation Engineers in setting up and maintaining the machines which include documentation preparation, machine performance, machine preventive maintenance, daily machine buy-off for production, process monitoring and tracking;
• Responsible for Automation Operation product assembly processes sustaining which include machine trouble shooting, product yields, quality reporting, maintaining machine parameters for production and spare part issue reporting.
• Assist and execute planned machine preventive as per schedule in the machine PM list.
• Responsible for assisting Automation Engineers in New Product phase in activities and participating in engineering evaluation;

Technician, Process

• Ensure the manufacturing processes requirements are derived from customer requirements on product performance are being expedited;
• Perform process validation/verification;
• Provide ongoing engineering support and suitable work environment for manufacturing;
• Responsible for planning and establishing the control of production and monitor the trend of process performance;
• Prepare and ensure process work instructions are available and updated;
• Perform risk assessment on product and process;
• Provide tooling and fixture support to production in order to develop and improve process flow;
• Liaise with vendors / customers on product-related issues;
• Responsible for continuous improvement activity;

Technician, NPI

• Work and support NPI production process/build with good quality and on time delivery;
• Assist Engineers on daily NPI routine;
• Ensure all processes within time frame given and meet the shipment;

Skills & Experience

SPM with years of experience or Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical/Electromechanical/Information Technologies & Network/Electronics Engineering.

Possesses basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment with minimum2 years’ experience in manufacturing industry.
