Job summary

Technocom Systems Sdn Bhd in Tebrau, Johor is seeking a capable Planner to manage production planning from order to delivery. You will liaise with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, monitor customer forecasts, issue weekly production orders, and coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform production planning beginning from customer's order to delivery finished goods at customer’s level; liaise with internal parties to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor forecast or orders and manage system demand accordingly.
• Issue production orders to production team weekly; check material readiness and schedule production.
• Coordinate production progress, sample builds, and shipment; schedule on-time delivery to customers.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, warehouse and shipping teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Contribute to EHS policies and participate in special projects as assigned.

We’re looking to add a Planner in Tebrau Johor.

As a Planner, you will:

• Perform production planning beginning from Customer’s order to delivery finished goods at Customer’s level. Liaise with other internal parties to ensure delivery achieved as per committed to Customer.
• Monitor Customer’ forecast or order and manage system demand accordingly;
• Issue production order to production team on weekly basis;
• Check for material readiness and schedule production accordingly;
• Coordinate and checking on production running process, model and daily output;
• Coordinate with sample builds process and shipment;
• Schedule and ensure on-time delivery to Customers;
• Liaise with production, purchasing, warehouse and shipping teams for any issue with the aim ensuring goods are delivered on time to Customers;
• Responsible for excess exposure claim due to demand cancel or product end of life;
• Contribute to the workplace safety and health improvement for the employees, as well as environmental protection, by adhering to the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures, and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation of EHS programs;
• Participate in any special projects/programs as & when assigned by Company.
• Senior/Planner or as delegated by Management;
• Authorize to make commitment based on material availability and line capacity;
• Decide on the line planning based on customer requirement and urgency (for ad-hoc cases);
• Make proposal on freight method – air or sea based on the urgency;
• Decide on the demand loading in the system based on customer forecast and shipment plan (may differ from customer to customer);
• Make proposal for inventory adjustment based on the actual physical count;
• Decide on build priority between prime and service.

What skills and experiences are we looking:

Good communication, negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills;

Proficient in Microsoft Excel applications and SAP system is preferable but optional;

Able to work independently.

Degree in material management or any others field;

Preferably with 2 years’ production planning experience

Excellent in problem solving, communication and time management skills;

Good negotiation skills and with positive attitude;

Independent and self motivated.
