Job summary

V.S. Industry Berhad in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking an experienced SMT Technician to operate, maintain and troubleshoot SMT lines for high-quality PCB assemblies.

You will work with SMT engineers and QC teams to ensure production plans are met and quality standards are maintained. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Certificate in Electronics or related fields with 1–2 years of SMT/PCB assembly experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years hands-on SMT or PCB assembly experience (fresh graduates welcome).
• Familiarity with SMT machines such as DEK, ASM, Koh Young, etc.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor SMT equipment including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and screen printers.
• Perform machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments according to production plan.
• Conduct visual inspections and operate AOI and SPI machines to ensure solder quality and component placement accuracy.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on SMT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair SMT line issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate checklist and maintenance records.
• Work closely with SMT engineer and QC teams to implement process improvements.
• Follow all safety, ESD, and quality control procedures.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SMT Technician to join our electronics manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting SMT lines to ensure efficient and high‑quality PCB assembly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and understand PCB assembly drawings and component placement files.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Willing to work shifts.
