Job summary

Angenet Sdn Bhd (Spritzer Berhad Yong Peng Branch) is seeking a Technician - Production Engineering to ensure smooth operation of our PET bottling line in Yong Peng, Johor. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and monitor machine performance to boost blowing efficiency.

You will document maintenance activities, manage spare parts, and comply with LOTO and safety standards while working on shift rotations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in production engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of hands-on maintenance in PET bottling or FMCG.
• Ability to read PLC ladder diagrams.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams.
• Willing to work on a shift rotation.
• Strong analytical/root-cause analysis.
• Capable to work independently under high-pressure deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Execute daily, weekly, and monthly PM schedules for the Sidel blower.
• Breakdown Repair: Conduct rapid troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical failures to minimize downtime.
• Process Optimization: Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements for blowing efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate technical logs and reporting of all maintenance activities and spare part usage.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out according to LOTO (Lock-out, Tag-out) and industrial safety standards.

About the role

As a Technician - Production Engineering at Angenet Sdn Bhd (Spritzer Berhad Yong Peng Branch), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's production processes. This full-time position is based in Yong Peng, Johor.

• Preventive Maintenance: Execute daily, weekly, and monthly PM schedules for the Sidel blower.

What we’re looking for

• Relevant technical diploma or degree in production engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a PET bottling or FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read PLC ladder diagram.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and pneumatic circuit diagrams.
• Capable of troubleshooting and replacing sensors, induction and servo motors, solenoid valves, air cylinders, and bearings.
• Must be willing to work on a shift rotation basis.
• Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently under high-pressure production deadlines.
