Job summary

AME Elite Consortium Berhad 腾宇集团 is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Pasir Gudang to perform planned and unplanned maintenance on JPB material handling equipment. You will update checklists on the same day, report issues promptly, and apply root-cause analysis to achieve reliable operations.

You will also ensure safe maintenance, keep tools and assets in good condition, support 5S practices, and propose improvements to procedures and equipment while leveraging electrical/mechanical skills and

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Engineering studies (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic/Automotive) or equivalent.
• 1–2 years working experience.
• Physically fit to take maintenance and repair tasks.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills; understanding of Port material handling equipment and PLC systems advantageous.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical breakdowns safely with attention to detail.
• Good communication and writing in English and Malay.
• Able to work in a team.
• Able to work at height.

Responsibilities

• To carry out planned and unplanned maintenance and repair activities on JPB material handling equipment as required by Superior and Above Management level.
• To update maintenance checklists upon completion of work on the same day of execution.
• To update Superior if issues arise to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Identify problems and apply methods such as root cause analysis for satisfactory solutions.
• Ensure maintenance and repair activities are conducted safely per company policies.
• Keep all tools and assets in proper condition and good working order.
• Ensure workplace cleanliness and perform 5S after each work order.
• Suggest improvements on procedures and equipment.
• Apply engineering knowledge to practical skills.
• Review and select appropriate techniques and methods to undertake tasks.

• To carry out the planned and unplanned Maintenance and Repair activities on JPB material handling equipment as required by Superior and Above Management level
• To update the maintenance checklists upon completion of work on the same day of the execution job done
• To update Superior if experiencing any issues related to the maintenance work as soon as possible to ensure all work order will be completed in timely manner
• To identify problems and apply appropriate methods such as root cause analysis to achieve satisfactory solutions
• To ensure Maintenance and Repair activities are conducted safely to the satisfaction of company policies and procedures
• To keep all tools and company asset in proper way and good working condition
• To ensure workplace cleanliness and conduct 5S upon completion of the work order
• To actively suggest any improvements on work procedures and equipment improvements
• To use engineering knowledge and understanding to apply technical and practical skills
• Always review and select appropriate techniques, procedures and methods to undertake tasks

Job Requirements

• Possess a minimum Certificate/Diploma in Engineering studies (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic/Automotive) or equivalent
• 1 - 2 years working experience
• Physically fit to take maintenance and repair tasks without any major health problem
• Possess electrical and mechanical maintenance skills. Understanding with Port material handling equipment and PLC system is advantages
• Ability to handle electrical breakdown and troubleshoot in safety manner with keen eye for details and accuracy of works
• Posses good communication and writing in English and Malay
• Able to work in team
• Able to work at height
