Job summary

UNIPAC ENGINEERING (MELAKA) SDN BHD is seeking a Technician (Machinery - hoists - workshop equipment) to install and service hoists and workshop gear in Melaka. The role requires hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or SKM, 2+ years of experience in machinery servicing, and holds a valid GDL and driving license. Working hours are Mon-Fri with health insurance benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum SKM or Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in machinery servicing or automotive workshop environment.
Possesses good technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Possess valid GDL & driving license.

Responsibilities

Install machinery / hoists / workshop equipment.
Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on machinery.
Assembly / fix-up equipment, work bay lights and machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
Program and configure calibration settings.
Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
Lay air and oil piping / electrical wiring work.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness in repair area.

Job Description:

Install machinery / hoists / workshop equipment.
Perform preventive and schedule maintenance on machinery.
Assembly / fix-up equipment, work bay lights and machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
Program and configure calibration settings
Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
To lay air and oil piping / electrical wiring work.
To maintain a high level of cleanliness during repair and in the surrounding work area.
Possess valid GDL, driving and upkeep company vehicle and tools assigned to.
Responsible undertake other Mechanic assignments, any other ad-hoc task or duties when assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements:

Minimum SKM / Diploma in Automotive / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role / environment / automotive service will be added advantage
Possesses good technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, teamwork, independent, punctual and reliable with a strong working ethic.
Punctual, reliable, and committed to quality work
Possess valid GDL & driving license

Working Hour: Mondays to Fridays (8:30am – 6:00pm)
