Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to perform daily checks, preventive maintenance and quick repairs on factory equipment in Tangkak, Johor. You will work on day and night shifts, with overtime as needed, and contribute to keeping production lines running smoothly.

The ideal candidate holds SKM in electrical/electronic or higher (diploma/degree in electrical/mechatronic), and can work independently with minimal supervision. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must have SKM in electrical/electronic or higher (Diploma/Degree) in electrical/mechatronic.
• Ability to work day and night shifts and overtime.
• Independent with minimum supervision; fresh graduates welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checking and monitoring on facilities’ working condition and arrange contractor for service/repair as needed.
• Ensure spare parts are available at all times and inform supervisor when needed.
• Assist train operators in repairing and troubleshooting knowledge and skills.
• Response to all items or machine equipment failures for all departments.
• Perform preventive maintenance for all parts, facilities and machine equipment; inform superior if external contractor is needed.
• Repair/change equipment when breakdown to avoid downtime in the factory.
• Maintain main panel cleanliness during production and monthly preventive maintenance.
• Maintain safety and clean operating condition at all times with proper housekeeping.
• Report failures of instruments, parts, and facilities to supervisor for day-to-day operations.
• Seek continual improvement in maintaining parts and machine instruments.
• Provide long/short term solutions during failure to reduce downtime.

• Ensure all the spare part available at all time, inform senior technician if needed.
• Assist train operator in repairing and troubleshooting knowledge and skill.

• Perform preventive maintenance for all parts, facilities and machine equipment. Inform superior if external contractor is needed.
• Repair/change equipment when breakdown to avoid prolong of disruption in the factory.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance for all motors and machine equipment in production to avoid unscheduled downtime.
• Maintain Main Panel cleanliness during production monthly preventive maintenance.
• Maintain safety neatness and clean operating condition at all times with proper daily housekeeping.
• Report to superior on all failure of instruments, parts, and facilities for day to day operation issue.
• Seek for continually improvement in maintaining parts and machine instruments.
• Provide long/short term solution during occurrence of failure to production line/other supporting facilities to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot the equipment failure/malfunction to all parts.

Requirement

• Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia in electrical/electronic and it equivalent or higher qualification (Diploma, Degree holder) in electrical or mechatronic.
• Able to work on day and night shift.
• Able to work overtime.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Preferable energetic and innovative person.
• Experience working in manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduate is welcomed.
