Job summary

Kuala Lumpur Pavilion is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to oversee HVAC systems, perform installations, troubleshooting, and repairs across building facilities in Kuala Lumpur. The role covers mechanical and electrical-powered equipment and requires meticulous preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will handle ELV items like sub switch boards, transformers, ACBs, and gensets, attend to tenant requests, supervise contracted technicians, report hazards, and carry out basic

Qualifications

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repairing of all the HVAC systems, inclusive of all the mechanical- & electrical-powered machines/equipment.
• Maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repairing of all electrical, Extra Low Voltage (ELV) items inclusive of but not limited to Sub Switch Boards, Transformers, Electrical Safety Relays, Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), and Gensets.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive/ predictive maintenance checks
• Attend to complaints, inspections, setup and reparation as requested by the Management and tenants
• Supervise appointed contractors to carry out maintenance and repair works
• Report any potential problems/ hazards to the supervisor and take remedial action
• Fault finding and rectification for electrical systems such as wiring shorting, lighting problem, electrical tripping issues and power failures
• Experience in simple carpentry and plumbing work
