Job summary

ULTRA CLEAN TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Technician I in Penang, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing/aerospace/engineering.
• Able to work in cleanroom environment, wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to work shift including Sunday and Public Holidays.
• Must be able to support 12hours rotating shift work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical parts to build machines based on required specifications, drawings and work instruction.
• Conduct functional and leak test, identify errors and conduct rework if required.
• Report and assist engineers in problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Understand the cleanroom protocol and practice the 5S Concept for cleanroom.
• Perform housekeeping and comply with manufacturing discipline.

Job Summary:

The Technician I role at UCT is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems to meet precise specifications and quality standards. This position ensures product reliability through functional and leak testing, rework when necessary, and strict adherence to cleanroom protocols and 5S practices. By collaborating with engineers, maintaining discipline, and supporting continuous improvement, the Technician I contributes directly to efficient production, operational excellence, and UCT's mission of delivering innovative solutions to the global semiconductor industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble electronic and mechanical parts to build machines based on required specifications, drawings and work instruction.
