Job summary

ULTRA CLEAN TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. seeks a Services Technical Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate training for semiconductor cleaning services.

You will ensure technicians, engineers, and operators are proficient in safety, efficiency, and contamination control. Responsibilities include delivering training online or on-site, developing manuals and e-learning modules, and updating content with new technologies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment maintenance, or contamination control.
• Proven experience in technical training, instructional design, or workforce development.
• Strong knowledge of cleanroom protocols and wafer handling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt training for diverse audiences.
• Certification in training or instructional design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Training Delivery: Conduct on-line and/or on-site training sessions for employees.
• Develop training materials, manuals, SOPs, and e-learning modules tailored to semiconductor cleaning processes.
• Update content regularly to reflect new technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Expertise: Serve as SME on semiconductor cleaning equipment, chemicals, and contamination control practices.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure training aligns with ISO standards, EHS regulations, and customer-specific requirements.
• Performance Evaluation: Assess trainee competency through tests and demonstrations and audit training records.

Position Summary

The Services Technical Trainer design, deliver, and evaluate training programs focused on semiconductor equipment cleaning services. The role ensures that technicians, engineers, and operators are equipped with the knowledge and skills to maintain industry-leading standards in safety, efficiency, and contamination control.

Key Responsibilities

• Training Delivery
  • Conduct training thru on-line and/or on-site training sessions for employees.
  • Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques, equipment handling, and safety protocols.
  • Provide refresher courses and advanced training modules as required.
• Develop training materials, manuals, SOPs, and e-learning modules tailored to semiconductor cleaning processes.
• Update content regularly to reflect new technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Expertise
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on semiconductor cleaning equipment, chemicals, and contamination control practices.
  • Be the central contact point during services audit.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during training and provide practical solutions.
• Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure training aligns with ISO standards, EHS regulations, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Promote best practices in cleanroom behavior, PPE usage, and chemical handling.
• Performance Evaluation
  
  • Assess trainee’s competency through tests, practical demonstrations, and feedback sessions.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in training effectiveness.
  • Audit completion of training records for targeted services sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment maintenance, or contamination control.
• Proven experience in technical training, instructional design, or workforce development.
• Strong knowledge of cleanroom protocols, wafer handling, and precision cleaning methods.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt training methods for diverse audiences (technicians, engineers, operators).
• Certification in training or instructional design from professional body, is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with semiconductor equipment such as CMP tools, etching systems, deposition equipment, and wafer cleaning stations.
• Experience with training software, LMS platforms, and digital learning tools.
• Multilingual ability (English, Mandarin or other languages) is a plus.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Ability to work in cleanroom environments.
• Capable of handling additional tasks when required due to the dynamic business nature.
• PPE required where applicable.
