Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd seeks a Technician II to support reliable manufacturing operations by maintaining CNC machines, swarf compactors, and related equipment. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment commissioning as needed.

Applicants should have a Diploma in Mechanical/Technical and 2–5 years CNC/machining experience; familiarity with DMG, Doosan, Okuma, Mazak, Haas, or Brother is advantageous. Must follow safety rules and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Technical or equivalent.
• 2–5 years CNC/manual machining experience preferred.
• Familiar with CNC manufacturing processes and machining centers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC/machining equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines.
• Refill oil and maintain lubrication for CNC machines.
• Maintain preventive maintenance checklists and schedules.
• Assist new equipment commissioning and testing.

UCTis looking for a talented Technician IIto join us in Malaysia!

The Technician II supports reliable manufacturing operations by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines, swarf compactors, centrifuges, and related equipment. This role executes preventive maintenance schedules, identifies and resolves mechanical and electrical issues, and assists with equipment commissioning and TPM activities. The technician ensures safe, efficient operations by maintaining accurate maintenance records, operating forklifts and cranes as needed, managing spare parts, and sustaining a clean, organized work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Trouble shooting machining, swarf compactor, centrifuge and other machines in machining area l.
• Refilling oil to CNC machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance for CNC machines, swarf compactor, centrifuge machines.
• Keep track, monitor and maintain preventive maintenance checklist and schedules.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to all manufacturing equipment.
• Identify, prepare and present solutions to equipment problems and continuous improvement
  projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical control and mechanical problems.
• Assist new equipment commissioning to verify that the testing is done correctly and efficiency
  completed.
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and 5S standards.
• Assist Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) team in implementing and sustaining the program.
• Changing oils remove swart to disposal area.
• Operating forklift and crane as required
• Maintaining a clean work area
• Maintenance the overall workbench and tools.
• Any other relevant and related responsibilities may be assigned to from time to time as required
  by superior.
• Managing stocks of spares.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Technical cert in Machining/Vocational School or above.

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

• Essential for 2-5 years or more experience of CNC/ Manual Machining.
• Familiar with CNC manufacturing process.
• Familiar with operating and maintenance CNC milling and turning machines.
• Experience in DMG , Doosan , Okuma , Mazak , Haas & Brother is an advantage.

Experience Requirement:

• Lift up to 20 pounds.
• Climbing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
• Lift up to 10 pounds.
• Standing.
• Repetitive movements of arms and hands.
• Must be willing to work in working environment safety helmet and safety shoes.
• Must be willing to work shift work and OT if required.
• Good attitude and willing to learn new knowledges.
