Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines.
• Repair malfunctions of electronic/electrical components.
• Routinely check machinery to prevent downtime.
• Initiate improvements to increase machine efficiency.
• Ensure repair tools and equipment are well maintained.
• Senior roles may lead a team to meet targets.
• Strong PLC/instrumentation/MCC troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of control systems and inline vision is a plus.
• Provide technical guidance during troubleshooting to restore function.
• General computer hardware/software knowledge is an advantage.
• Fast learner eager to adopt new products and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Job description

To perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines.

To repair the malfunction of Electronic/Electrical components in the manufacturing machines/equipment.

To routinely check on machinery for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime and interruptions.

To initiate improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency.

Ensure all repair tools and equipment are well maintained.

For more senior position, might acts as team leader to ensure that the works meet agreed targets by directly overseeing work team members.

Good troubleshooting skills on PLC/Instrumentation/MCC and able to understanding wiring/loop/MCC drawings.

Knowledge on control systems, Inline Vision system maintenance and industrial robot maintenance will be an added advantage.

Provide technical advice during troubleshooting and corrective action of instrument breakdown or failures to find the root cause and best solution in order to restore the functionality back to normal.

Knowledge of general computer, hardware and software applications will be an added advantage.

Fast learner with keen interest to learn new products and new technologies.

Ability to work independently and resourceful with good initiatives.
