Job summary

B. Braun Medical Industries Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking an Electronics Technician to perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines, repair electronic/electrical components, and monitor machinery to prevent downtime. Fresh Diploma holders are encouraged to apply.

You will troubleshoot PLC/Instrumentation/MCC, read wiring/loop drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement to boost reliability. Potential to lead a small team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electric/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related field.
• Fresh Diploma Holders are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines.
• Repair malfunctions of electronic/electrical components.

Job description

To perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines.

To repair the malfunction of Electronic/Electrical components in the manufacturing machines/equipment.

To routinely check on machinery for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime and interruptions.

To initiate improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency.

Ensure all repair tools and equipment are well maintained.

For more senior position, might acts as team leader to ensure that the works meet agreed targets by directly overseeing work team members.

Good troubleshooting skills on PLC/Instrumentation/MCC and able to understanding wiring/loop/MCC drawings.

Knowledge on control systems, Inline Vision system maintenance and industrial robot maintenance will be an added advantage.

Provide technical advice during troubleshooting and corrective action of instrument breakdown or failures to find the root cause and best solution in order to restore the functionality back to normal.

Knowledge of general computer, hardware and software applications will be an added advantage.

Fast learner with keen interest to learn new products and new technologies.

Ability to work independently and resourceful with good initiatives.
