Job summary

Radical Internetwork Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a cabling technician to install network cabling infrastructure, configure basic switches, and troubleshoot connectivity for new or existing networks.

You will plan cabling routes, install patch panels, run cables, and set up software and hardware on Windows to ensure reliable networks.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. The contract role offers cell phone reimbursement, medical insurance, paternity leave, and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a technical Diploma/ SKM in the relevant field.
• Have knowledge on cabling and cable running.
• Must be willing to work at night based on project & work permit requirements.
• 1 to 2 years of hand-on experience on network cabling, computer hardware.
• Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job description

Cabling technician to be able to perform:

Basic network switch configuration & troubleshooting

Installing network cabling infrastructure such as patch panels, cables, and routers to support new or existing computer networks

Planning and cabling route verification

Installation of software and hardware on Windows OS

Installation of cable trunking

Installation of piping

Testing & Troubleshooting Network Cable Connections

Requirements :

Candidate must possess at least a technical Diploma/ SKM in the relevant field.

Have knowledge on cabling and cable running

Must be willing to work at night based on project & work permit requirements.

1 to 2 years of hand-on experience on network cabling, computer hardware.

Applicants must have valid driving licence, own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia as necessary.

Able to work independently under pressure with minimum supervision.

Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
