Job summary

Lifetech CS Sdn Bhd – Seremban, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a hands-on Installation Technician to install CCTV cameras, network equipment, and related cabling at customer sites. You will perform cable routing, testing, and basic troubleshooting while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires a minimum of SPM/Certificate/Diploma in related fields, willingness to travel, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Training will be provided and drivers license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, IT, Networking, or a related field.
• Experience in CCTV, network cabling, or electrical wiring is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of network cabling and CCTV systems is an added advantage.
• Able to use basic hand tools and testing equipment.
• Willing to work at different customer sites.
• Physically fit and comfortable with installation work, including working at height when required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• GDL licence is an advantage.
• Candidates with a good attitude and willingness to learn are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install and route CAT5e/CAT6 network cables for CCTV and network systems.
• Install CCTV cameras, network equipment, and related cabling.
• Perform cable pulling, trunking, conduit, and cable management works.
• Terminate network cables using RJ45 connectors and patch panels.
• Perform cable testing and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with fibre optic cabling and splicing works when required.
• Install cable trays, PVC/GI conduits, and other cable containment systems.
• Assist technicians and engineers with CCTV and network system installation.
• Carry out site surveys and installation works at customer premises.
• Label and organize cables properly according to project requirements.
• Perform maintenance and rectification works for existing installations.
• Prepare tools and materials required for site installation.
• Ensure all installation works are completed safely and according to company standards.
• Travel to different customer sites when required.
