Job summary

Mechmar Boilers is seeking a dedicated boiler maintenance technician to perform commissioning, testing of safety interlocks, and on-site troubleshooting across client sites.

You will read electrical and P&ID drawings, perform boiler and burner tune-ups, and respond to breakdowns promptly while coordinating with supervisors for service orders and site assessments.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least SKM or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic/Process Instrumentation or related fields.
• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical/electrical or boiler maintenance is an advantage.
• Able to read electrical and P&ID drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning work.
• Test boiler safety systems such as safety valve and interlock.
• Troubleshoot boiler operation and auxiliary electrical systems.
• Service boilers, burners and conduct combustion tuning.
• Attend boiler breakdowns on time as assigned by supervisor.
• Carry out boiler and burner performance tests.
• Ensure service orders are precise, signed by client, and submitted promptly.
• Conduct site assessments as assigned by supervisor.
• Overhaul MASS own boiler if required.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job description

• Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning work
• Perform testing on boiler safety system such as safety valve and interlock system
• Perform troubleshoot on any boiler operation & auxiliary system issue in term of electrical system, wiring, instrument malfunction and etc
• Perform boiler service, burner service and combustion tuning
• Attend boiler breakdown on timely manner as assign by superior
• Carry out boiler performance test, burner performance test and other related performance test
• Ensure the Service Order generated precisely, clearly written, counter sign by client and submit back to office in timely manner
• Perform site assessment as assign by superior
• Overhaul MASS own boiler if required
• Any other task assigned by superior

Requirements

• Must possess at least SKM or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical//Mechatronic/Process Instrumentation or any related fields.
• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical/electrical or boiler maintenance is an advantage.
• Able to read electrical and P&ID drawing.
• Must be willing to travel and work at customer site.
• Good communication and can work in a team.
• Willing to do Overtime and work during Public Holiday if required.
• Fresh graduates with passion to learn are encourage to apply.
