Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required.
• Grade 1 Steam Boilerman Certificate (JKKP) required.
• At least 2 years of boiler operation experience.
• Basic math; able to read and write in Malay and English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise high-pressure steam boilers (up to 16 bar) and thermal oil heaters.
• Monitor steam pressure and operate valves.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and repairs of boiler components and feed water systems.
• Monitor feed water quality and coordinate with laboratory for testing.
• Raise maintenance requests and ensure stock levels of parts and tools.
• Conduct monthly stock counts and report inventory status.
• Implement 5S activities in boiler house and workshop area.
• Ensure safety compliance during all tasks, including work permits and documentation.
• Maintain security of equipment, tools, and parts in boiler house.
• Assist in plant start-up and shutdown activities.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Boilerman to operate and maintain high-pressure steam boilers and thermal oil heaters at our Port Dickson PME Plant. The role involves ensuring reliable steam supply for production, monitoring boiler systems, and performing routine maintenance and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise high-pressure steam boilers (up to 16 bar) and thermal oil heaters
• Monitor steam pressure and operate manual release and blow-off valves
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and repairs of boiler components and feed water systems
• Monitor feed water quality and softener reagent condition; coordinate with laboratory for testing
• Raise maintenance requests (MRF) and ensure minimum stock levels of parts and tools
• Conduct monthly stock counts and report inventory status to Plant Manager
• Implement and monitor 5S activities in the boiler house and workshop area
• Ensure safety compliance during all tasks, including work permit issuance and safety documentation
• Maintain security of equipment, tools, and parts in the boiler house
• Assist in plant start-up and shutdown activities and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum diploma qualification or equivalent professional certificate
• Grade 1 Steam Boilerman Certificate (JKKP)
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in boiler operations
• Basic math skills; able to read and write in Malay and English
• Knowledge of maintenance, troubleshooting, and engineering drawings
