Job summary

Neuropower (M) Sdn Bhd seeks an UPS service engineer to perform RMA service and troubleshoot defects in-house. You will work with a team on projects, customization of units, and attend on-site service calls, with occasional travel to outstations as required.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in UPS, relevant electrical/electronic degree, PW2/PW4/A0 certificates, and are proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Willingness to work OT and be on-call complements the role.

Qualifications

• At least 1–3 years of UPS industry experience; fresh graduates may apply.
• Willing to work overtime and be on-call 24/7 on rotation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; strong documentation skills.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform RMA service and troubleshoot defects in-house.
• Assist and work with team on projects and unit customization, on-site or in-house.
• Prepare service reports on defective parts of products.
• Attend to service calls and perform on-site troubleshooting.
• Travel to outstation for maintenance and installation as needed.
• Coordinate with sales on product specifications and technical issues.

Job description

To perform RMA Service and troubleshooting customer defects units in-house

To assist and work as a team with others to handle projects, customization of units and etc, either in-house or on-site

To prepare service report on the defective parts of the products

To attend to service calls and perform trouble-shooting on-site

To travel outstation for maintenance and installation purposes

To coordinate with sales team on products specification and technical related issue

And, any other duties exigent of the company’s services

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or any other equivalent field.

At least 1 to 3 year(s) of working experience in UPS industry is required for this position although fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Possess Certificate of Competency of PW2 / PW4 / A0 issued by ST is an added advantage.

Knowledge of UPS technologies is an added advantage.

Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia. Well verse in other languages is an added advantage.

Applicants must be willing to work overtime, on-call 24/7 on rotation basis within the team.

Ability to adapt and perform well in a highly dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Skilled in troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of electronic/electrical equipment.

Attention to detail and high level of safety awareness.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
