Job summary

MITC Sdn Bhd in Selangor, Malaysia, seeks a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair work on mechanical, electrical, and related systems. The role requires coordinating with vendors and inspecting facilities to ensure optimal operation and safety.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, a high school diploma, and a PW/Chargeman certificate or relevant field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate in PW / Chargeman or relevant field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical and maintenance work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Able to travel
• Possess B2 driving license

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
• Liaise with vendors for maintenance and service all firefighting systems, electrical systems, air conditioning systems, air compressors, water pump room, motor room, and others.
• Maintain and operate all air conditioner systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs.
• Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations.
• Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken.
• Monitor contractor performance and coordinate with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications.
• Make minor plumbing and electrical repairs, as necessary
