Job summary

Kaer Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technician/Senior Technician to ensure facilities are safe and functional by reviewing preventive and corrective maintenance activities in line with quality and safety standards. You will lead technical investigations, perform risk assessments, and liaise with third-party service providers to ensure timely maintenance or repair works.

Training will be provided. The role is on-site at designated sites in Kuala Lumpur, with potential deployment to other properties.

Responsibilities

• Standby on-site to be the first response for any incident.
• Routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Identify and raise to the Engineer if there is any faulty equipment.
• Supervise any S&M, or Repair work conducted.
• Be the hands-on person to carry out S&M / Repair.
• Assist Engineer to carry out any works to optimize and maintain chiller plant performance.
• Ensure Service Reports for periodic S&M is properly documented and stored.
• Attend to any complaints by customers.

Job description

The Technician / Senior Technician ensures that facilities / assets are safe and functional by reviewing their preventive and corrective maintenance activities in compliance with quality and safety standards and regulations. He/she leads technical investigations in the cases of fault calls and conducts risk assessments to ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WSH) practices.

He/she also liaises with third-party service deliverers to ensure maintenance or repair works provided are carried out in a timely manner.

He/she has the sound technical knowledge required for facility maintenance and is a competent problem solver. He/she works at designated sites and may be deployed to other properties or locations.

Day-to -day operations

To succeed in this role, you must have:

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is an advantage.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Willing to work on rotating shifts, including Public Holidays.

Able to do overtime and the candidate is expected to be stationed on-site during the work shift.

Training will be provided.

Willingness to learn.

Candidates with more years of relevant technical experience may be considered for a Senior Technician position
