Job summary

TAO BIN SDN. BHD. is seeking a technically skilled technician to perform maintenance, servicing, installation, and on-site support for robotic vending machines.

You will work across electrical, mechanical, and software aspects, ensuring machines operate safely and reliably at customer sites. You will conduct inspections, perform calibrations, document activities, and collaborate with the engineering and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant technical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in vending machine maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or technical field service is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance of robotic vending machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues to ensure machines are safe and efficient.
• Carry out site inspections prior to installation.
• Install, configure, and commission vending machines at customer locations.
• Ensure proper testing and calibration before handover.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, malfunctions, or service calls.
• Provide on-site technical support and ensure minimal downtime for customers.
• Prepare service reports, checklists, and maintenance logs accurately and submit on time.
• Update records on machine status, spare parts used, and follow-up actions required.
• Work independently on assigned tasks but also collaborate with the engineering and operations team when needed.
• Participate in training sessions to continuously improve technical skills.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as directed by the supervisor or management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards.
