Job summary

Intrix Renewable Sdn Bhd. is seeking a hands-on HVAC Technician to maintain, inspect and repair heat pump systems and related equipment in client sites across Malaysia. You will handle preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal equipment performance.

The role requires 1–2 years of air conditioning experience, knowledge of VRV/VRF systems, and willingness to travel nationally. Diploma (TVET) or equivalent is preferred, with a valid driving license and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate in a technical field (TVET) or equivalent.
• 1–2 years working or training experience in air conditioning: services, repairs, installation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of VRV/VRF systems; installation, troubleshooting and maintenance, plumbing and electrical is an added advantage.
• Multitasking, organisation, discipline and ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Able to travel outstation nationally, overtime when necessary and standby on non-working days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, examine and repair heat pump system equipment.
• Attend preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Handle repair/inspection of HVAC equipment incl. refrigeration, electrical and mechanical aspects.
• Liaise and report on system issues with customers and internal team.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and handover tests (FAT/SAT) where applicable.

Job description

Responsible for maintaining, examining and repairing heat pump system equipment

Ensure client's equipment is functioning optimally at all times by attending to preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting and resolving arising issues in a timely manner.

Attend any job requests relating to repairing or inspection of equipment (e.g. refrigeration system, machine's electrical or mechanical issues

Liaise, report and maintain a good communication for all system equipment issues or condition with customer and internal team

Be involved in factory acceptance test, site acceptance test, installation and commissioning of heat pump system or equipment, ensuring conditions are fulfilled, and performance are acceptable before approving handover from supplier, or handing over to user-client.

Be on call to respond to any emergency situations for example system or equipment breakdown

Perform any installations, repair and maintenance jobs performed by appointed suppliers or vendors.

Maintain proper records of equipment operation, service reports, preventive maintenance records and other electrical, mechanical or refrigeration system related documentation.

Actively maintain and update inventory records of material, parts or components.

Comply to Health and Safety and 5S systems implemented by the company/Customer

Undertake other assigned/ad-hoc tasks from time to time.

Perform other functions and duties as and when assigned by the company.

Key Requirements

Possess at least minimum of diploma certificate from any Technical & Vocational Education Training's institution (TVET)

At least 1-2 years of working or training experience in air conditioning: services, repairs, installation and troubleshooting

Knowledge of VRV/VRF system; installation, troubleshooting and maintenance, plumbing and electrical is an added advantage

Multitasking, organise, discipline and being able to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision.

Able to travel outstation nationally, perform over time when necessary and standby during non-working days.

Posses a valid driving license

Knowledge in Unitary products which are self-contained heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems that combine all required mechanical components - such as compressors, coils, and fans-into one or two matched assemblies
