Newark Engineering Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking a skilled field service engineer to support HVAC and mission-critical cooling systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, manage spare parts, and provide technical support to customers.
The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience, a relevant degree, and the ability to work shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Driving license is preferred.

Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and mission-critical cooling equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules and service agreements.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance activities to ensure timely completion.
Conduct site inspections to ensure maintenance quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.
Identify equipment abnormalities during maintenance and recommend corrective actions to customers.
Attend emergency service calls during the Defects Liability Period (DLP) and maintenance contract period.
Diagnose equipment faults and perform troubleshooting to restore system operation.
Prepare service reports, root cause analysis (RCA), and recommend preventive measures.
Coordinate and supervise repair works during the DLP and warranty period.
Manage critical spare parts inventory to ensure availability for emergency repairs.
Process warranty claims with manufacturers and suppliers where applicable.
Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure timely resolution of service issues.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all documentation is completed promptly.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in HVAC, ACMV, after-sales service, field service, or maintenance engineering.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC or mission-critical cooling equipment.
Good understanding of preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and root cause analysis.
Prefer candidate with driving license
Ability to work shifts, during non-standard business hours that may include evening, nighttime, weekends, and/or holidays
