Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant technical field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with relevant work experience are also welcome.
• Basic knowledge of safety equipment, particularly gas detectors, airline systems, and SCBA, is an advantage.
• Must possess a valid driving license.
• Applicants who hold a valid OGSP card are encouraged to apply.
• Computer literate, with basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel and work at client sites, including industrial plants.
• Willing to work during shutdowns and turnarounds, including overtime when required.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and committed to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, calibration, testing, installation, and maintenance of gas detectors, breathing apparatus, and related safety equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance, bump tests, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
• Prepare service reports, calibration certificates, and other technical documentation.
• Assist with gas detection system installation, equipment deployment, and site monitoring.
• Monitor gas detector status, alarms, and readings during shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Maintain accurate equipment records, service logs, and inventory.
• Ensure tools, instruments, and equipment are in good working condition and ready for use.
• Communicate with clients and the Supervisor regarding job progress, technical issues, and equipment status.
• Ensure all work complies with company procedures, client requirements, and site safety regulations.

Conduct routine maintenance, bump tests, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.

Prepare service reports, calibration certificates, and other technical documentation.

Assist with gas detection system installation, equipment deployment, and site monitoring.

Monitor gas detector status, alarms, and readings during shutdowns and turnarounds.

Maintain accurate equipment records, service logs, and inventory.
