Farm’s Best Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to oversee machine operations at their poultry processing facility in Masjid Tanah, Malacca.

This role demands a commitment to safety and excellence, ensuring machinery operates smoothly and efficiently. Candidates should possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO and HACCP is preferred, alongside strong communication skills in English

• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out the jobs in a safe and responsible manner.
• Operate machines safely, including setup, alignment, and removal of tools and fixtures.
• Apply proper use of inserts, fixtures, and tooling in production tasks.
• Require in using precision tools, variety of cutting tools and equipment.
• Review and recommend improvements to procedures for efficiency and adaptability.
• In charge of any breakdown and complete the repair work of the plant as first priority so that the daily operation is well carried out.
• Make small repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Respond to company's maintenance emergency needs.
• Assist and support amongst technician in performing task.
• To assist in order and ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess SPM/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years related working experience in Poultry Processing industry or related field will be an added advantage.
• Possess knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installation, maintenance, repairs, and safety and precautions necessary for the equipment operations.
• Familiarity with CAD, other mechanical design software, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical & electronics system, and industrial design.
• Experience in quality systems and standards ISO 9001:2008, HACCP, Halal, OSH, & GMP will be an advantage.
• Able to write and communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess strong commitment, good communication skills, able to work independently and self-motivated.
• Good computer and related software skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
• Applicant must be willing to work at Masjid Tanah, Malacca.
